My new toys: Apple MacBook Pro (Penryn) and Nikon D300
Awesome tools! OSX Leopard is just beautiful and the Macbook Pro feeling is great with it's backlit keyboard and responsiveness. Pairing with Intuos 3 you get probably one of the greatest productivity toys (my favorite tools list just got a bit bigger).
As for the D300, this professional camera is working like a charm, it's stunning fast and acurate. 150.000 cycles, 100% coverage viewfinder, weather sealing and many more
make this camera build to last; and the great ISO performance enable you to capture some great details.

"Atelier 35" EXPO
at World Trade Center
I'm glad to inform you that you can see "Rugaciune", one of my photoghraphy works at the "Atelier 35" EXPO. "Atelier 35" reunites art students and U.A.P members within the 35 years old age limit.
Varnishing day will be on 10th April 2008, at World Trade Center (Europe Hotel) at 5 o'clock (U.A.P - "Uniunea Artistilor Plastici" - Plastic Artists Union). The expo will be available for public over a month.

2nd Prize winner
I'm happy to tell you that I won the second place in a national photography contest hosted by www.vacantesicalatorii.ro (7th edition) in the
"Peisaje si figuri monahale" category. My thoughts on the winning photograph:
« "Rugaciune" (en. "Prayer") is part of a photography series made at candle light in February 2006.
As lighting source I used 3 more candles. My intention was to create a photography that leaves you the feeling that you look at a painting, the darkness of the room, the light and the colors helped me allot. "Prayer" is also a sign for the new generation to bring God closer our hearts. The photo was taken at Iasi, with SONY R1, 14 mm, F10, 8seconds, ISO160.»

A few days in the Neamt county, Romania
Those few days spent in the Neamt county brought into my soul peace... and county with it's breathtaking beauties inspired me. These few images selected are intended to present the unique feeling of this place. Unfortunately the absolute beauty must be felt with all your God given senses, from my photographs are missing the touch of the wind, rain drops, the silence and the shine of the rivers.
